Safety training

Training services for workplace safety

We offer projects for human capital development, training, and education on safety and environmental issues.
Our goal is to spread the culture of prevention, covering technical, legal, managerial, and ethical aspects.

Therefore, we plan highly qualified training courses tailored to the needs of the organizations we work with, in order to offer personalized and effective training. We have been doing this for over 30 years.

Training on workplace safety is essential for several reasons:

  • ensuring a safe working environment
  • protecting the health and well-being of workers
  • providing the skills and knowledge needed to prevent work-related accidents, injuries, and illnesses.

It is crucial for all employees, regardless of the sector in which they operate. A serious workplace safety training program can also help improve efficiency, productivity, and the company's reputation. It is an essential investment to ensure that the workplace is a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

The themes of the training paths

The occupational safety training we offer includes several aspects:

1. Knowledge of regulations: workers need to be informed about local and national laws and regulations regarding health and safety at work. This includes understanding their rights and the company's responsibilities.

2. Hazard identification: employees must be able to recognize potential hazards in the workplace. This involves understanding the risks associated with the activities carried out, the equipment used, and the materials handled.

3. Use of equipment and safety devices: the training includes the correct use of equipment, machinery, and personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as the importance of their constant use.

4. Safety procedures: workers need to know and follow the company's specific safety procedures, including evacuation plans, emergency procedures, and incident reporting methods.

5. Risk management: training for employees on how to manage workplace risks, including the prevention of ergonomic, chemical, or biological risks.

6. Communication: it is important to promote effective safety communication among employees and with supervisory staff, such as the importance of timely reporting of risks and incidents.

7. Safety culture: safety training helps create a safety-oriented corporate culture, where prevention becomes an integral part of daily work.

8. Periodic updates: safety training is not a one-time event but an ongoing process. Employees need to receive periodic updates to stay informed about new regulations, new equipment, and best safety practices.

Staff training paths

Training of operators in a plant is a key process to ensure that workers are properly prepared to carry out their tasks safely and efficiently. This type of training is particularly important in industrial and manufacturing environments or in any context where workers interact with equipment, complex machinery, or hazardous substances.

Here are some key points related to operator training in the plant:

  • Identification of training needs
  • Course content: workplace safety, use of equipment and machinery, regulations and standards, sustainability and social responsibility
  • Training methodology
  • Evaluation and certification
  • Continuous updating
  • Involvement of workers

Gesteco considers operator training as a fundamental investment to ensure worker safety, compliance with regulations, and maximum operational efficiency. Proper training creates a safer work environment and helps reduce the risk of workplace accidents and injuries.

  • Competent instructors
  • Practical sessions and simulations
