Over €13,000 delivered from the “Note di Solidarietà” charity concert to support children in Haiti and Peru
Concrete solidarity beyond borders: Gesteco SpA and Autotrasporti Chiarcosso Srl support Pane Condiviso’s projects
The cheque presentation for the proceeds of the “Note di Solidarietà” charity concert took place at our headquarters in Povoletto. The initiative, promoted by A.S.D. Help Haiti - Chiarcosso, involved Gesteco SpA and Autotrasporti Chiarcosso Srl in support of the projects run by Pane Condiviso OdV.
The fundraising event raised €13,130, donated in full to support the children and adolescents reached by the association’s projects in Haiti and Peru, where Pane Condiviso has been working for over forty years, providing shelter, education and protection to minors living in conditions of extreme vulnerability.
The initiative is a tangible example of solidarity rooted in the local community yet reaching beyond borders, bringing together businesses, culture and volunteering to create a real, lasting impact.
During the presentation, Ivana Mary Agosto Chiarcosso, President of Pane Condiviso, highlighted the importance of cooperation among different local organizations - building a network to support those who are far away, but not forgotten. A message of deep significance, felt even more strongly during the Christmas season.
For the two Friulian companies, the initiative forms part of a broader commitment to social sustainability and responsibility towards the communities they serve.
