UEB4Work is back in 2025, and we at Gesteco are proud to renew our participation
The worlds of business and sport join forces to create new job opportunities in the region
Launched in 2023, UEB4Work is now in its third edition, confirming itself as a meeting space between companies and individuals interested in exploring new professional opportunities.
The event continues to grow and evolve with the participation of eight industrial companies from the region, within a setting inspired by the values of sport - particularly basketball - such as team spirit, collaboration, and mutual trust.
In addition to Gesteco, this year’s participants include: Maddalena, MEP, Faber, Zanutta, Pettarini, FEC Italia and Juliagraf.
New for this year is the involvement of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Employment Services, enriching the initiative by providing concrete tools and opportunities to support both citizens and businesses.
The event program
The event will take place in a sports setting to highlight how the values promoted through basketball, such as teamwork, collaboration, and mutual trust, can also be successfully applied in professional environments.
The day will begin with an inspirational talk by UEB Coach Stefano Pillastrini and UEB President Davide Micalich, who will share insights and experiences on the importance of talent, cohesion, and growth within a team.
The session will be enriched by the contribution of Simone Teso, an expert on generational dynamics, who will guide us in reflecting on the value of generational diversity in the workplace, presenting companies as spaces for learning and mutual enrichment.
Following this, representatives from the eight participating companies will have the opportunity to share their visions and expectations regarding this initiative.
After the presentations, participants will be able to engage in one-on-one introductory interviews with the companies.

Which profiles are of interest at UEB4Work?
At UEB4Work, participating companies are looking for candidates to fill positions in the following areas:
- Technical, Environmental, and IT roles
- Production roles (including operators, technicians, and roles in mechanics/electronics)
- Administrative and Commercial roles

Which positions is Gesteco hiring for?
1. Drivers for roll-off trucks – C license + CQC/D, ADR Category E
We are looking for experienced drivers, preferably with expertise in operating roll-off trucks.
Requirements:
• Valid C License + CQC/D and ADR (Category E)
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Immediate availability
We offer:
• Permanent employment contract
• Workplace: Friuli Venezia Giulia (FVG) region and surrounding areas
2. Earthmoving machine operators
We are seeking excavator and earthmoving machinery operators to work on industrial, hydraulic, and road construction sites.
Main tasks:
• Excavation and demolition
• Earthmoving operations
• Disposal and recycling of inert materials
Requirements:
• Proven experience in the sector
• Immediate availability

• Workplace: FVG region and surrounding areas
3. Electromechanical maintenance and installation technicians
We are hiring personnel for the installation and maintenance of industrial plants, including air and water treatment, nebulization, and filtration systems.
Requirements:
• Electromechanical skills
• Willingness to travel across Central and Northern Italy
We offer:
• Permanent employment contract
• Workplace: FVG region and Central-Northern Italy
4. Technical sales representatives - environmental Services
We are looking for technical sales professionals to manage and grow our client base in the integrated environmental services sector (remediation, waste management, etc.).
Requirements:
• Experience in commercial and/or technical roles within the environmental sector
• Strong client management and business development skills
• Target area: FVG region and neighboring regions
We offer:
• Permanent employment contract in a dynamic work environment
5. Environmental sampling technicians
We are seeking technicians for sampling environmental matrices (air, water, waste, atmospheric emissions, soil, and rocks).
Requirements:
• Knowledge of current regulations regarding environmental sampling
• Willingness to travel within the FVG region and nearby areas
